# Pre-Deposit Vault

> The first phase of the Tori Ecosystem Vault, curated by RockawayX via Upshift

## Overview

The pre-deposit vault is the first phase of the Tori Ecosystem Vault, curated by RockawayX via Upshift. Deposit USDC or USDT to earn yield and Cores from the first day, with a 2x Cores boost for the length of the phase.

Season 1 of Cores begins June 23 with this phase, and fees are waived while it runs.

## How Yield Works

Yield accrues through share price appreciation. As the vault earns, each etrUSD becomes worth more. Your token balance stays the same, so there are no manual claims and no rebasing.

## Lock-Up and Withdrawals

During the pre-deposit phase, deposits sit under a 30-day hard lock-up and cannot be withdrawn until it ends. After the phase, the vault converts to the Ecosystem Vault with a soft lock-up and a 7-day withdrawal period.
